Summer is in full swing at Rush Creek Art Studio. We have many requests for Art classes in Oil, Acrylic, and Watercolor Painting. As we prepare for the beautiful colors of Autum, we have put together the following class offerings.
Watercolor Painting - This is a four-hour, one-day course. Offered on September 2nd from 9AM to 1PM, or Sept. 23rd from 12PM to 4PM.
The cost is $200 and includes the use of our Studio Brushes, Paint, and Paper.
Acrylic Painting - This is a four-hour, one-day course. Offered on September 16th from 9AM to 1PM, or Sept. 30th from 12PM to 4PM.
The cost is $200 and includes a 16x20" Stretched Canvas. *Studio Brushes and Paint are available to use during the course.
Oil Painting - This is a two-hour, five-day course. Beginning on August 28th. Continuing on 9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25 from 5PM to 7PM. The second course offering starts on September 9th. Continuing on 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, and 10/7 from 9:30AM to 11:30AM.
The Cost is $472.54 for 10 hours of instruction time and all course materials which includes an 8-piece brush set, 10-piece set of Divolo Paint in wooden box, 16x20" Canvas, Paint Mediums, Pad of Pallet Paper, Brush Soap, double bowl set for mediums, pallet mixing knife. *The Basic Color Mixing Course is offered at no additional cost with the purchase of the Oil Painting Course. This is only offered on September 2nd from 2PM to 4PM.
*Basic Color Mixing for the Artist - This is a two-hour one-day course designed for the artist that wants a better understanding of mixing colors for basic composition, shadows and highlights. Understanding the use of the color wheel and basic color theory. Course offering September 2nd from 2Pm to 4PM.
The cost is $35, and includes all materials needed.
